    Dr. Charlie Foo is a corporate business executive with over 30 years of experience in the technology sector, spanning artificial intelligence, software, storage, and networking. In his current role as vice president & general manager, Asia Pacific in NVIDIA, Charlie is responsible for driving enterprise partner business growth and strategy across the region.

    Charlie joined NVIDIA through the Mellanox Technologies acquisition where he served as the vice president & general manager of Asia Pacific/Japan. He has also held senior leadership positions at IBM, Brocade (now, Broadcom) and Compaq Computers, contributing to regional business expansion and transformation initiatives.

    Charlie holds a doctorate degree in Computer Science from the European Institute of Management & Technology (EIMT), an MBA from University of Dubuque in Iowa, and has completed an executive program by Harvard Business School.

    Dr Aladdin D. Rillo is currently a Managing Director for Policy Design and Operations for the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA). Dr Rillo has written and published extensively on the ASEAN economy and on the broader economic and trade and financial integration issues.

    Dr Alladdin Rillo holds PhD and MA degrees in economics from the University of Hawaii, and an AB in economics from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.

    Dr Alladin Rillo worked at the ASEAN Secretariat for many years where he served in various positions; the latest as the Deputy Secretary-General for the ASEAN Economic Community (2018-2021), during which he provided the overall leadership in the implementation of the AEC Blueprint 2025 and ASEAN’s economic integration agenda. He also held positions at the Asian Development Bank Institute in Tokyo as Senior Economist (2013-2018) and PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto as Senior Manager Transfer Pricing (2006-2007).

    Director, Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia
    Farlina has been involved in crafting various dialogues and forums on cybersecurity, technology policy and digital governance. Her research focus is on cyber stability, Malaysia’s national interests in emerging technologies as well as peaceful and meaningful use of cyber and digital tools. She has facilitated workshops on cyber norms and chaired the CSCAP Study Group on International Law in Cyberspace (2018-2021). She was formerly an analyst in the Foreign Policy and Security Studies programme and currently provides support for the institute’s radicalisation and Malaysia-Korea activities. She graduated from S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University with an MSc (Strategic Studies) with a certificate in terrorism studies. She was a participant in the ROK Ministry of Unification Institute for Unification Education (IUE) Emerging Leaders Fellowship in 2019.

    Urs Gasser is Professor of Public Policy, Governance and Innovative Technology and serves as Rector of the Hochschule für Politik (HfP) and Dean of the TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology. His research focuses on the societal and regulatory implications of new technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and quantum technology.   • Mohamad Rejab Sulaiman

    Rejab, 46, holds a Bachelor of Electronic & Electrical Engineering (BEng) from University College London (UCL) and Master of Applied Statistics from University Malaya (UM).

    Mohamed Rejab is the Senior Vice President, Cloud Services of Credence. With his 20 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, and currently leading the Credence team in spearheading TM technology and digital innovations and covering the role as CEO Credence effective 17 October 2023.

    He has led key projects in TM namely Streamyx nationwide expansion, HSBB planning and Go-To-Market (GTM), public switch telephone network (PSTN) and several legacy network migrations and transformation to HSBB network and was also instrumental in Long-Term Evolution (LTE) network rollout project.

    He was also involved in the growth and expansion of Hyperscale Data Centre and the setting up of Cloud Alpha, under the Government’s MyDIGITAL initiative.

    He sits on the board of several subsidiaries of TM.

    Sanjay Sarma, distinguished leader in academia and business, is professor of mechanical engineering at MIT. Until May 2025, he was CEO, President, and Dean of the Asia School of Business. He co-founded the Auto-ID Center at MIT, pioneering the technical concepts and standards of modern RFID. Today, the suite of standards developed by the Auto-ID Center, called EPC, has become a global standard utilized by over a thousand companies. Sarma also previously chaired the Auto-ID Research Council, establishing six labs worldwide. He co-founded OATSystems, later acquired by Checkpoint Systems, and serves on the boards of several companies including Aclara Resources (TSX:ARA) and Rekor Systems (NASDAQ:REKR).
    Sarma received his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley, his Masters from Carnegie Mellon University and his Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology. His expertise includes RFID, sensors, manufacturing, autonomy, AI, sustainability and innovation. He has authored over 150 publications and played a key role in India’s Aadhaar unique ID system. Sarma’s contributions have been recognized with multiple awards, including the MIT MacVicar Fellowship and National Science Foundation CAREER Award. She served as an academician at International Islamic University for more than 20 years before retiring in 2017 to become a carer for her late father. She later joined Naluri Hidup as a Chief Health Psychologist until March 2023. A HRD Corp certified trainer, Dr. Hari conducts training sessions for medical and allied health professionals in government and private hospitals on various topics such as Therapeutic Communication, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychological First Aid. She has also been conducting a series of training sessions for carers of patients with diabetes under the Sama Sama Programme with Novo Nordisk and KKM. Hari is an active member of MERCY Malaysia (for which she was an EXCO for 10 years), Malaysian Diabetes Educators Society, Persatuan Hospice Negeri Sembilan and the American Psychological Association.
